Samantha's Thursday Reviews

Two Were-bears and one woman who gave up on the idea of true love a long time ago...

Down on her luck, plus size single Sadie doesn’t ever think she’ll find love, so when her best friend Peyton offers to set her up on a blind date she refuses. Except Peyton isn’t taking no for an answer. She knows that Sadie needs to try something new - something very unconventional - if she ever stands a chance at letting go of her insecurities and finally opening up her heart once again.

The arrangement? Sadie is about to go on a blind date with not one, but two mysterious strangers.

Dane and Jackson have been the best of friends ever since they were young cubs so when they are both made alpha of their clan, they agree to share more than leadership: they want to share a mate. For the two sexy were-bears, it's quite simple: convince the plus-size beauty that they can make all of her wildest dreams come true. Except Sadie doesn't realize just how wild it's about to get!

Note To Readers: This is a sexy bbw romance story and is free of cliffhangers. It is a stand alone novel filled with steamy love scenes where fur is flying and one BBW is about to have the time of her life.

I have to say that I loved this book and loved the characters. I LOVE a good menage and I thought that this one was great. Poor Sadie thinks that her friend is crazy for setting her up on two blind dates at the same time. Imagine her surprise when she finds out that they want her together. That's when things heat up. This is a great, quick, hot read! Great for all readers ages 18 and over!

Irresistibly seductive, and beautifully complicated, Reece Golden finds himself constantly at war with his inner beast when it comes to women. His human side is attracted to sinfully wild bad girls, while his wolf wants a quality woman who knows what she wants in life and isn't afraid to take it.

His world is about to be turned upside down when his human wants and his beast desires finally agree...

When the billionaire playboy finds himself tangled up in a property scandal, and comes face to face with the wickedly delicious curves that belong to the sexy businesswoman, Jade Nash, he knows his wild bachelor lifestyle is over. She is everything both him and his beast have wanted, and what the shifter wants, the shifter gets.

What he doesn't know is that unlike the other women he so easily enamors with his skillful hands, and fiery passions, the buxom brunette isn't going down without a fight. It'll take more than sweet words and soft touches to win her over. It's time to let his beast take control.

Note To Readers: Band Of Wolves is a standalone series where every book offers one complete story. There are cross-over characters in every book, but NO cliffhangers. It also doesn’t matter in which order you read the books. Enjoy!

WARNING: This book contains scenes of an adult nature. Only read if you are 18+, please.

I enjoyed this book as much as I have every other book that I have read from this author. The book kept me interested from beginning to end. This book is part of a series but I was able to read it and not be lost so it can be read as a stand alone. It is a quick read so it is great for those of you that are dying to read a good book but don't have a lot of time on your hands. I definitely recommend reading!

Just when Sadie is ready to settle down as Dane and Jackson’s mate, she winds up the victim of a terrifying kidnapping scheme. The maniac is intent on using Sadie, and her best friend Peyton as a ticket out of shifter life. What he didn’t count on was the curvy beauty having two devoted lovers who will stop at nothing to protect the only woman they’ve ever loved.

Note To Readers: Double Trouble (Her Two Bears: Book #2) is a follow up to the popular Her Two Bears novel and picks up where Book #1 left off. Each book is a stand alone story and may be read without having read other books in this new series.

This is a great follow up book to the first. This is book two in the series and can't be read as a stand alone. To get the full effect of the characters you need to read book one first. This trio are definitely not having an easy time of starting their life together as Sadie and Peyton get kidnapped. I enjoyed the book immensely. This is definitely a series worth reading!

There's nothing more breathtaking than the kiss of a primitive, dangerous, and irresistibly gorgeous man. Except a man who is also half-dragon.

When Arianna finds herself shaking hands with the gorgeous castle blacksmith, Craig James, it's as though she had never laid eyes on a man before. He's not just handsome, he possesses an irresistible charm that leaves her breathless, and powerless to resist.

But what begins as a one night stand with a mysteriously handsome stranger turns into something far beyond the scope of imagination as Arianna finds herself led into a world of mystery, and magic...where tales of flying dragons and dangerous witches come to life, and where nothing is ever what it seems.

Can she bring herself to accept the illusive Craig James for what he really is, or will she be too afraid to believe in the magic that brought them together?

The fires of passion have never burned brighter, the scorching flames fanning the hunger that burns within until there is only one thing left to do: Give into it's power or lose the chance to be loved unlike ever before.

Note To Readers: Kiss Of Fire is a stand alone novel, free of cliffhangers. If you are in the mood for something fresh and different, where powerful dragons exist, and women will stop at nothing to protect the men they love, then grab your copy of this fiery paranormal romance novel, and prepare for a passionate adventure! Happy reading!

This one is a hard review for me to write. I really wanted to give this a higher rating because I have loved every book I have read by this author. This one is good. Do not get me wrong. I did enjoy it. However it just didn't have that draw you in 'it' factor that I normally get from the authors books. My personal opinion is even though the whole book was good the last four chapters or so were the best parts of the book. The characters just didn't click with me in this book. This is just my personal opinion. I have seen other reviews for this book that are four and five stars and those readers absolutely loved the book. I definitely recommend reading as our opinions may be very different.

Abandoned by his mother as a young boy, and taken in by the elders of the Redwater clan, Tegan isn't your typical hero. In fact, if you ask him, he wouldn't call himself a hero at all.  Yet when he is asked to investigate the outcome of an attack on the nearby human villages, what he discovers invokes the rage of a thousand storms, and he finds himself on the run with a beautiful stranger.

Tegan may be half dragon, half human, but he's all heart.  If he doesn't stay focused on the mission at hand, he will find that the curvy woman he's determined to protect, could be on her way to stealing it.

On the run, they must fight their way to safety before time runs out. Tick, tock.

Note To Readers: This is a stand alone novel and is free of cliffhangers.

I really liked this book. There were great characters that you were able to connect with. I find that, that always makes it easier to read a book. The author has a great writing style that draws you in and keeps you hooked. The main Character in the book Tegan has faced a lot in his life and has a lot more to overcome. Out of this authors Dragon books this one is by far by favorite so far. I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next. I highly recommend reading.
