I rated this book as 5+ because this spin-off goes with one of my absolute favorite series from this author. Anything where Joseph Anderson is meddling makes for a great story. Add in all the other meddlers and it makes it even better. I loved the dynamic between the characters. I love the writing style. With each series of this authors she has a different writing style and I can't say that I like them all. I do however LOVE this one. You don't have to start with the original series to read this one. You don't even have to read the first book in this series to enjoy it. It can be read as a stand alone, although it's always so much better to read the other books also. The only thing that I don't like about this book is the price. I understand the need to make money from your work, however a lot of readers don't want to pay that price for an ebook. A paperback copy maybe.
With that being said, I would still recommend buying and reading just because I personally feel that the book was that good.

I gave this book a 5+ rating because I love that the author went out of the box with this one. I have not read many books where the heroine is a professional in extreme sports. I loved not that she got injured but the fact that the author showed the reality of what can happen in that sport. It didn't hurt that this is a part of my favorite series from this author. This is a great book for a great price!
I definitely recommend buying and reading!

This was the first book I have read from this author and I thought that it was good enough for me to want to read more but not really a favorite. There were things I liked about it and things that I didn't. I don't want to go into a lot of details about my likes and dislikes with the content of the book because I don't want to give spoilers. I thought that the author has good writing style and can definitely engage the reader. With this being the fourth book in the series I found that I could read it without being too lost but I think that some things would be better understood if I read it from the beginning of the series.
I do recommend buying and reading.

Jill Shalvis is a new author to me. This is the second book that I have read of hers and I have to say that she is quickly becoming a favorite. I love her writing style and the fact that her personality comes through in her writing. She is real. I fell in love with the characters, there was great character development and back stories. I read this book in one day because I did not want to put it down. I only put is down when I had to and picked it right back up ever chance I could. I will definitely be reading more from this author and I definitely suggest buying and reading

The more I read from this author the more I love her books. I find that I can't read enough of her books. As soon as I finished this book I immediately wanted another one to read. There are few authors that can make me feel that way when I read a book. I feel that the author has excellent writing style and characters. Her books show a lot of depth and insight into the characters not just the romance. I highly recommend buying and reading.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I am sucked into her web of amazing books. I absolutely love how real the author is. She incorporates real phrases that every day people would use and that is one of the things that makes this book so great to me. I love the fantasy of a good romance but I like for them to be a little realistic also. I will definitely be reading more from this author. The characters were great. I fell in love with all of them. Even the character I didn't care for through most of the book had a redeeming quality about her. It was heartfelt and engaging. I definitely recommend buying and reading!
