Love Release, Parts 1-3 By Geri Foster with Review by Samantha

Cora was a respected and successful doctor until she shot her sisters husband. She had her reasons and she would do it again, however she may not have had such harsh sentencing if her father had not seen to it that she got punished to the fullest. After years in prison she is out on probation with no where to go and no money. Then she finds out that her aunt left her, her house when she passed so she goes there. Only she's not alone, she also has her nephew. While on probation she has to check in weekly with the local law enforcement. This scares her to death as she had experiences in prison that she doesn't want to talk about let alone think about and any type of law enforcement puts the fear of god into her. She did not expect Virgil. He just won't leave her alone and it's not that he distrusts her, he looks out for her.
My Opinion:
I have read almost all of Geri's books and loved them all. This one however is on a whole new level. I don't just give it 5 stars. I give it 5+ stars. I could not put it down. It was riveting and emotional and although it is very different from the authors other work it probably in my eyes anyways some of her best work.

Cora has started to make herself and her nephew a home. But there are things that are going on in the small town she has made her home and although she does not want any trouble she cannot sit back and let the injustices happen. Cora, Virgil and some of her new friends help an abused child that she has become close with any way that they can. But Cora's past is catching up to her because the warden and the guards at the prison don't want her talking about what happened there.

Then there's Virgil. She doesn't want to love him but she does, but she can't bring herself to do anything about it. Too much happened to her in the past and she just wants to raise her nephew in peace.
My Opinion:
This is another 5+ star book for me. I am absolutely in love with this series. I hang on every word. This series is probably one of the most emotional and well written that I have read. I definitely recommend reading. You have to start with book 1. This series has to be read in order.

Cora has definitely had her share of troubles and things don't get any easier. She has friends and people that will stand up for her and by her side no matter what. A great nephew unexpected family and Virgil. Virgil has forged a spot in her heart but she still can't bring herself to open up to him about what happened and she's afraid that in his effort to find that he may be putting all of them in danger. With Cora taking in the neighbor child after he gets a beating that could have killed him Virgil stays with her and the children to help keep them safe.
Virgil fell for Cora very fast and he will do anything for her. There are times he wonders why he bothers and if he should just give up but then he takes one look at her and knows that he can't.
My Opinion:
I just can't get enough of this series. This to me is another 5+ star book. I highly suggest reading but you do have to start with the first installment as they all run together. It is heartfelt, mysterious, empowering and just a flat out amazing book. I again could not put this book down.

As long as she can remember, Geri Foster has been a lover of the written words. After raising her family and saying good-bye to the corporate world, she tried her hand at writing.
To her surprise she won several contests, hooked up with a great critique group and her writing career was well on its way. She spent several years studying her craft and developing her voice.
Action, intrigue, danger and sultry romance drew her like a magnet. That's why she had no choice but to write Action-Romance Suspense. While she reads everything under the sun, she's always drawn to guns, bombs and fighting men. Secrecy and suspense move her to write edgy stories about daring and honorable heroes who manage against all odds to end up with their one true love.

Also, look back soon to see a new twist in her writing. Yes, Comedy. But there will still be guns, bombs, and sexy men
