Chris and Sara made are back home in San Francisco to find that the world that Sara has grown to love has gone to hell. The police are still trying to pin Rebecca's death on anyone they can it seems. Mark's mother has cancer and has not been doing well so he has been there and allure is basically going under. When Sara goes to allure to see how her ex co workers are she talks to an employee at Riptide who asks her to come back and help out. Sara cares about the place and the people so she and Chris both agree to help. Sara learns of new developments concerning the Ava and Rebecca situation.
This was such a great book! I was beyond happy that this story did not end up being a trilogy. I was not ready for Sara and Chris's story to end! I have so much respect for the author for creating such and intriguing and addictive world for us to escape to. If you have the money to spend on these books you will not be disappointed! I definitely recommend reading. You do need to start from the beginning of the series or you will be lost.
