I think we’ve all done it. Someone makes an innocent comment and instantly our minds turn it into a dirty joke “like a twelve-year-old boy." People talk about how dirty football locker room talk can be, yet when all is said and done, we know the truth.
The dirtiest place on earth is a group of women enjoying Girls’ Night Out.
Picture it: a gathering of girlfriends or sisters. A chance to let out their inhibitions and—face it—complain about the men in our lives. It's healthy, and it can be one of the finest events of the social agenda. But what makes it so much more than a place to get rowdy? What makes for a perfect Girl’s Night Out?
In Rocky Mountain Romance, Melody has lived in the community before. She's now back after nearly a year away and has been reunited with her good friend Allison, which has been wonderful. What’s even more amazing, as her relationship with the hero, Steve Coleman, blooms she is also welcomed into the sisterhood of the Coleman women.
There is power in the collective along with the dirty jokes and the laughter. Sometimes we become too close to an issue and having good friends to point out details can be a huge help. Sometimes we miss seeing things in our relationship, good or bad, and it's vital to have women we trust to be able to lift us up, or shake us, so we end up as happy as possible.
That's what Melody finds in this gathering of women—ladies who care for and work alongside ranchers. Men who work the land doing backbreaking labour. Men who have hearts filled with love for their partners, and for their family. But men who are not perfect.
All of us make mistakes, and some times we need to be reminded that we are changing. Growing. And at times we need to be reminded that the people around us are doing the same thing.
Girls Night Out can be a time of laughter and dirty jokes, TMI sharing and a few too many drinks. Maybe during the night there will be some tears shed, but the real power is connection and family. It's belonging to something bigger than ourselves and knowing we are safe. They love us unconditionally—not with the kind of love that makes our hearts pound with excitement, but the kind of love that leaves us knowing we always have somebody by our side.
I hope you’ll join Melody, Allison, Ashley and the others for while they enjoy an evening together in Rocky Mountain Romance, and more than that—I hope you enjoy watching Steve and Melody get a second chance at falling in love.
Helped along by the laughter and encouragement of some very wise girlfriends.

Second chances are the sweetest—and the hottest.
It took a spectacularly embarrassing break-up to knock Steve Moonshine Coleman off his lazy butt. In the ten months since that night, he's changed his ways. Now that Melody's back in town, it's time for this sweet-talking cowboy to convince her to get back in the saddle with him.
A return to her veterinary position in Rocky Mountain House was always in the cards for Melody Langley. Getting back together with Steve? Never part of the plan. He had lots of potential but zero ambition, and there's no way she'll accept anything less than a man who can keep up with her, in and out of bed.
But the new-and-improved cowboy is impossible to resist, so Melody issues a challenge. Three months to prove he's reformed. Three months of Steve orchestrating one sexual indulgence after another--wicked distractions from the old boys' club Melody faces at work and Steve's growing responsibilities.
He's got one shot to prove with more than words what's in his heart and soul.
Warning: Fifty percent less angst, twice as much filthy-talking, dirty-daring cowboy. Get ready for a whole lot of make-your-knees-weak wooing from a man intent on proving he's got what it takes, and the woman ready to push him way past his limits.

Steve knows that he messed up with Melody and all he can think about is getting her back. So when she tells him that their sex life was good but a little too vanilla for her he now knows that he can be with her without holding back like he did before. He now has 3 months to prove to her that he has changed and that he can rock her world.
I have loved every book that I have read by Vivian Arend and this book is no different. However this is the first book that I have read in this series. As I didn't get too lost I feel that this book can be read as a stand alone, although it really does seem as if I missed some interesting stories in previous books so I am eager to start this series from the beginning. This book was able to grab my attention from the beginning and hold it. The sexual scenes definitely got steamier as the book went on. I definitely recommend reading even if you haven't read any other books in the series.
Vivian Arend in one word: Adventurous. In a sentence: Willing to try just about anything once. That wide-eyed attitude has taken her around North America, through parts of Europe, and into Central and South America, often with no running water.
Her optimistic outlook meant when challenged to write a book, she gave it a shot, and discovered creating worlds to play in was nearly as addictive as traveling the real one. Now a New York Times and USA bestselling author of over 40 novels and short stories in both contemporary and paranormal genres, Vivian continues to explore, write and otherwise keep herself well entertained.
