“Are all your exes psychotic?” She raised her brows, folding her arms on her chest. “Was she crazy before or after you got with her?” She leaned back on the island getting a better view of his face. Lord, the man was fucking gorgeous. Not in the clean cut sort of way. He had the whole fuck rough, dirty, and make you sweat thing going. A deep scar was etched down his cheek into his day’s old beard growth. She licked her lips and glanced down his massive frame. “Sex can make women insane.” Luke raked his gaze down her body with an amount of possession she’d never seen in any man’s eyes. “You found clothes.”
She glanced down at herself. Fuck. She was naked under the thin shirt. Her nipples decided to make themselves known by hardening into small points. Good thing she had her arms crossed. She jerked her gaze up to his face. She wouldn’t be swayed by dark and sexy looks. No way. She was pissed. “You stripped me?” He nodded, turning away from her to march out of the kitchen into the living area. “Excuse me!” She ground her teeth. “Did it ever occur to you that it was wrong to get someone you don’t know, who was passed out, naked?” He stopped and faced her so fast, she limped back. “No. All I thought was the fact you were hurt,” he stated, an angry bite in his voice. “I could have left you out there to die. Instead, I brought you here and ensured you were warm and I wrapped your ankle.” He glanced down at her foot. “You shouldn’t be walking around.” “I need my phone.” He leaned forward, bringing his eyes level with hers. “Use mine.” She swayed on her one foot. He grabbed her by the arms and lifted her in his arms. “Put me down. I can walk,” she said while curling her arms around his neck. Goodness. This close up he was killing her brain cells. “I don’t need a barbarian lugging me around like I’m a sack of potatoes.” He stopped and glanced at her lips. The look he gave her was so hot, warmth caressed her face from his gaze. “I’ve never met a female who compared herself to a sack of potatoes,” he said, hugging her body tighter to his. “You’re much softer than them. And,” he sniffed, a soft growl sounding from his lips, “you smell much better, too.”

Solomon groped for her in the darkness and latched on to her shaking body.
“Okay, okay,” he whispered, holding her tight. How could she be so good? So beautiful? Her entire life she suffered unspeakable pain, all to help others. All for others. And now, it was his suffering that she couldn’t take and was willing to take for him. Always the giver.
He stroked her back, refusing to think of the atrocities she’d endured in the name of doing what was right. To help. “I love you, Beautiful, do you know that? I’ve waited all my life for you,” he said, swallowing down emotion. He remembered a time not that long ago when he’d have felt guilty for saying that, but he knew his fiancé, wherever she was, alive or dead, would understand.
He tilted her face to his in the dark and kissed her softly. She was the one. She was the one he was destined to be with, he felt it so hard and hot inside him and in that second. Even if it was only for a week. He prayed it was for a hundred years but at this point, he wasn’t sure of the future. He was only sure of the moment.
A sudden urgency to learn as much as he could as quickly as he could. Then it hit him a second after. It dawned on him in quick succession, like a picture book flipping in his mind. How he met Chaos. How Master strategically put her in his life. How he trained her to never have pleasure, never have love…. Oh fuck. Solomon gasped and held her tighter. That bastard intended this. He’d intended this very thing, her falling in love and having to suffer losing him.
But why? Why was the master such a sick bastard? Why did he hate her so much to do this?
“Can you do one thing for me, Beautiful?” He kissed her forehead over and over. “Can you tell me some things so I understand? So I know how to fix all this?”
“You can’t fix it,” she said in a small defeated voice.
“I can.” He made his voice firm as he petted the hair next to her face. “I can, that’s why I’m here, remember? It’s so important that you remember that. Listen to me,” he said louder, barely shaking her. “Now is not the time to give up, do you hear me? How long have you trained for this?”
“Since… I was six.” The words were calm but came between random hitches in her breath.
Solomon held her, stroking her back. “That’s a long time. You’re nearly done, you can’t give up right at the end, you can’t.” When she nodded, he continued on, “We just need to understand everything that’s going on and see the best way to handle it. So… I’m going to need you to tell me what you think will happen from this point out, can you do that for me?”
“I don’t want to,” she whispered, her voice thick and scared sounding.
He took hold of her face at hearing the dread and kissed her. Long and softly. “I need you to. I need you. Please. I have to know so we can plan.”
“Plan what?”
“A way to fix this.”
“But it can’t be stopped,” she barely said.
“Not stop it, fix it,” he urged quickly. “I need to stop Master from doing the wrong thing, remember? Remember the curse has a hold of him and it’s trying to make him do the wrong thing? That’s how curses work, they slowly get a hold of people and make them think you’re doing right when really, you’re not. How long has Master been planning to break the curse?”
“A… a long time,” she said, back to half sobbing into his chest.
“Right. A very long time, plenty of time for the curse to take him, see? That’s what curses do, Chaos, they do what it takes to prevent from being broken and Master is only human, it’s not his fault. It’s not.” He grit his teeth at the gross lie. “But you, you’re special, remember? You have gifts, just like me, and they tell you when something is wrong. I just need you to think back for me.” Solomon knew it was only a wager but he was willing to bet all on this one thing. “Think back to the very first thing that happened that made you feel wrong in here.” Solomon touched her chest over her heart.
“The bad questions?” she asked, sounding worried and guilty.
Solomon angled his head in the dark, his heart racing with hope. “Is that what Master called them?”
“Yes,” she whispered. “I had questions, always.”
Solomon gasped in relief. “See? Your gifts were trying to help you stop the curse from hurting Master!” he said, excited. “When? When did they start, what kind of questions were they?”
“Master said they were bad,” she said in hushed tones like he might hear her. “That… the bad spirits were making me think about those things to stop him from lifting the curse and that I must never entertain the bad questions.”
“Oh my God,” Solomon whispered.
“What?” she quickly asked, scared.
“I was right. The curse got Master from early on. But that explains why he’s so blind, he’s had so many years under its spell.”
Solomon waited in the sudden silence, praying and holding his breath that she’d bite.
“Oh my God,” she whispered, pushing away from him. “Oh my God, oh my God.” She paced nearby, sounding more scared and guilty than ever, like everything was her fault, always would be. “I-I-I don’t understand, the queen—“
“The queen,” he gasped, grabbing at the sudden angle. “Tell me about the queen, Chaos. Let’s start there. Who is the queen? Where is she?”
“I-I don’t know who… I mean I wasn’t allowed to ask. She lives with Master, in his most private chamber.”
His most private chamber? Sick bastard thought he was God. Most private chamber, holy of holies. “What… does the queen look like?”
Solomon held his breath before she finally whispered, “She’s very beautiful. But… I wasn’t ever allowed to look upon her, I wasn’t clean enough,” she gasped, as though realizing things. Hopefully realizing the deception.
“How do you know she’s beautiful?”

Geri Wilder is at it again.
Lucky Charlotte. The sneaky little matchmaker doesn't only find her one mate. She finds her two. They are totally different but they both know one thing as soon as they meet her. She is theirs now they just have to convince her.
I loved it. Two sexy Alpha shifters and a woman who after dealing with a lot of jerks on earth finds it hard to believe that not only one but two sexy shifters can want her. It's a yummy read with a HEA. I would definitely recommend reading.

This was yet another amazing book in one of my favorite series. A spunky human woman on a different planet visiting her sister hoping to find love herself. A broody Dragon who can't see a good thing when it's right in front of his face and a feisty match making wolf who won't let these idiot males hurt the women she brings into their lives. Milly always brings us a great story with amazing characters and this book was no different. From start to finish I couldn't put it down. I read it in one sitting. I highly recommend reading.

Even though this book deals with shifters on another planet this time the shifter in question comes to earth. Once Alivia agree's to go to Karel's world with him she quickly realizes that things are not as they seem. With Alivia trying to figure out what is really going on she quickly finds herself in danger along with a friend she meets along the way. I loved this book in a different way than the others in the series. It still had the sexy in it that you know and love with Milly but I love the fact that a lot of the book had to do with Karel's mom. It showed a great family dynamic which I love. This is part of a series and even though it could technically be read as a stand alone it is better if read in order at least from book 6 on so that you understand some parts better.
 
I definitely recommend reading!

This book was different  then the others in the series in that the couple already know each other and are already mated. This book had a different dynamic than the rest in the series and might be one of my favorites. It really is hard to choose a favorite in this series though since every book is amazing. This book cannot be read as a stand alone as there are a lot of characters from past books in the series so it does need to be read after the rest of the books in the series. There are so many things to love about this book including the scheming of past couples trying to bring two new friends back together.
 
I highly recommend reading although again this book cannot be read as a stand alone this one must be read after the others.

I loved this book. It was short and sweet with a whole lot of sexy thrown in. I loved the characters. My heart broke when Teagan's back story was told. I love the Sanctuary, Texas series to begin with and this is the start of a great addition to the series. I've been a fan of the author for a long time and every book just draws me in. This book had me hooked from beginning to end. Even though it is part of the Sanctuary, Texas series it can be read as a stand alone. I definitely recommend reading.

I loved the book. I adored Travis and Garrett. However, I didn't really find much to like about Charlie's character. I know I won't like every character in every book even by my favorite authors and I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't like Charlie that much. With that exception the book was great. It had lots of sexy, a lot of evil plotting and had a bit of action thrown in.
 
The books in the Sanctuary, Texas series just get better and better and I cannot wait until the next one to see what the author comes up with. This book is part of a series and they really need to be read in order to get the full effect of what is going on.
